Hi I would like proofreading/feedback on my broadcasting story. BTW It's in all caps because that's how our teacher told us to write it.

A MICHIGAN ATTORNEY HAS FILED CHARGES AGAINST THE WIFE OF FORMER BAY CITY BUSINESSMAN… M. VICKTORIA WILSON—THE WIFE OF JOEL WILSON—WAS ARRAIGNED TODAY FOR LYING TO THE POLICE OFFICER DURING THE INVESTIGATION OF A CRIME. THE ALLEGED LIES RELATE TO THE INVESTIGATION OF JOEL WILSON, WHERE HE WAS LIVING AND HIS CONTRACT INFORMATION. DISTRICT COURT JUDGE A.T. FRANK HAS SET HER BOND AT 10,000 DOLLARS. A PRELIMINARY EXAM IS SET NEXT WEEK AT 2:45 P.M. IN SAGANAW’S 70TH DISTRICT COURT

    Looks good!

Thanks Ms.Sue.. instead of arraign, do you think charged would work?

  • broadcasting/english -

No. Arraignment is the formal procedure and is more accurate in this context than charged.
