the base of a triangle is the same as the height. what least whole number measurement for the triangle so that the area would be greater than144^2

  • Math -

let the base be x, then the height is x
    (1/2)(x)(x) > 144^2 or 20736
    x^2 > 41472
    x ≥ 203.6

So the smallest whole number would be 204
