greg has 2 quarter, 1 dim, and 3 nicles. stan has 3 quarters, 2 dimes, and 2 nickles. how can they share the coins so that they both have the same amount of money

    5 * 25 + 3 * 10 + 5 * 5 = 125+30+25 = 180 cents

    So each gets 90 cents

    greg has
    2 * 25 + 1 * 10 + 3 * 5 = 75 cents

    stan has
    3 * 25 + 2 *10 + 2 * 5 = 105 cents

    stan must give greg 15 cents, a dime and a nickel
