Julia ate 1 over 2 pint of mint ice cream. Mark ate 3 over 4 of malt ice cream. How many times more ice cream did mark eat?

3/4 ÷ 1/2 = 3/4 × 2/1 = 6/4 = 1.5
That is, Mark ate 1.5 times as much as Julia, or 50% more.
