How to fully factor X^3-8.
pls help

  • math -

The difference of cubes formula is:
    x^3 − y^3 = (x − y)*(x^2 + xy + y^2)

    Your x is x in this case and y = 8 (2^3).

    So you get:
    x^3 - 2^3 = (x - 2)*(x^2 + 2x + 4).
