What should be the goals of the US government today? I have to write an essay with this very question but I need help to formulate at least 4 different topics that the US Government should focus on.

  • US Government -

Carefully read the Preamble of our Constitution:

We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

Then read different parts of the Constitution, especially the articles and sections in which the legislature's and president's and judiciary's powers are named.
