if i have:
31x^5=1.4x10^-85

what would x equal?

  • Math -

    divide by 31
    x^5 = 4.516... x 10^-87
    take 5th root
    x = appr5.38 x 10^-18

  • Math -

    I bet you mean

    31 x^5 = 1.4 * 10^-85
    if so then
    x^5 = .04520 * 10^-85
    x = 4520 * 10^-90
    x = 5.38 * 10^-18
