An inflated basketball has a gauge pressure of 9.0 lb/in^2.

What is the actual pressure inside the ball?

  • physics -

Its actual pressure is 9.0lbs/inch, measured by the air guage. Its absolute pressure is 9.0+14.1 lbs/in^2

If you are in physics, I wonder why you are using the Old English system of units.
