I missed this problem on my test. I had 23 ft and the correct answer was 16 ft.
How should I of worked this problem?

A trapezoid has base lengths of 8.5 and 14.5 feet with the area of 184 square feet. What is the height of the trapezoid? Thanks for your help!

  • Geometry -

    area= (b1+b2)/2 * h
    184=(23/2)h

    h= 368/23=16
    It is important to figure out what you did wrong.
