in the order of operations equation
8-(24/8)^2 I Alex answered with
24/8= 3
3^2 = 9
8 - 9 = answer

You cannot subtract 9 from 8. So how do you get the answer?

    8 - 9 = -1

    If you have $8 and buy something for $9, you owe someone $1.
