We're doing multistep equations, and I need help on how to check my answers?
I knew how to do it on twostep equations, but now it's kind of confusing?
for example, there's a problem, 6a1 over 7 = 1
My answer was 4/3.
We're supposed to insert our answer in place of the variable in order to show we checked it, but it doesn't seem right?

6*(4/3)1 = 24/31=7
so 7/7 does =1, it checks
