How does a child or maybe an adult get sick because of Wi-Fi signals? That's very, very odd.

Odd? I don't think so. We get all sorts of weird questions here, the only explanation that I can see is that brains have been radiated with WiFi for an extended time.

Despite claims to the contrary, and extensive scientific epidemiology studies, there is no conclusive evidence that this is true. I recommend this review article:

Odd is that this article appeared in my paper today as I was reading your question.

The idea that Wi-Fi signals can make someone sick is a controversial topic. However, some individuals claim to experience symptoms when exposed to Wi-Fi signals, a condition referred to as "electromagnetic hypersensitivity" (EHS) or "Wi-Fi sensitivity." It is important to note that the scientific community has not confirmed the existence of this condition, and most scientific research suggests that Wi-Fi signals are safe and do not cause direct harm to humans.

That being said, if someone believes they are experiencing symptoms related to Wi-Fi signals, there are a few possible explanations:

1. Nocebo effect: The nocebo effect occurs when a person expects to experience negative effects from an exposure, and their belief alone can lead to the appearance of symptoms. In other words, the power of suggestion can influence how someone perceives their physical well-being.

2. Psychological factors: The fear or anxiety associated with exposure to Wi-Fi signals might provoke stress responses that can lead to physical symptoms.

3. Environmental factors: It's possible that individuals attributing their symptoms to Wi-Fi signals are actually being affected by other environmental factors, such as air quality, lighting, or even electromagnetic fields from other sources.

If you or someone you know is concerned about the potential health effects of Wi-Fi signals, it's essential to consult with a medical professional who can assess the situation objectively and provide appropriate guidance based on scientific knowledge.
