Hello,

What is the hybridization of an H atom on a methane?

As far as I understand, the hydrogen has 1 s orbital which bonds only to carbon, so does not have any hybridization. Is this correct?

Thank you

Correct. It is the C which has hybrid sp3 orbitals.
