French immersion grade 5 math perimeters

My child needs to write out equations for various shapes on grid paper, using French.
Finding the perimeter eg:P=(L+L)x2
also finding the Area. The shapes are complex, and I am lookin for help in figuring out how to write the equations properly, using the French.
Can you help?
