how would you solve these problem using distributive property
question #1 5(45+5)=5(_____)
question#2 9(42)9(4)=9(30)+9(______)
I need this before Sunday December 6,2009

5(45+5)= 5(50)= 250
9(42)9(4)= 9(38) = 9(30)+9(8)
= 270 + 72 = 342
