I would convert each data element to a frequency (number in element divided by total), then convert that to circle graph.

To convert information from a pictograph to a circle graph, you would follow these steps:

1. Understand the data: Begin by examining the pictograph and gaining a clear understanding of the information it represents. Pictographs use pictures or symbols to represent data, usually indicating quantities or occurrences of specific items.

2. Determine the values: Identify the values associated with each picture or symbol in the pictograph. For example, if the pictograph depicts apples and each apple represents 5 apples, you would note that each apple equals 5.

3. Calculate the total: Calculate the total quantity or occurrences represented by the pictograph. Multiply the value of each picture or symbol by the number of instances it appears and sum them up. This will give you the total value or total occurrences.

4. Determine the angles: To create a circle graph (also known as a pie chart), you need to convert the quantities from step 3 into angles. To do this, use the following formula to calculate the angle for each value:
Angle = (Value / Total) * 360

This formula converts each value to a proportion of the total and multiplies it by 360 degrees (a full circle).

5. Draw the circle graph: Draw a circle and mark the center as a reference point. Divide the circle into sectors or slices, with each sector representing a different category or item being represented. Use the angles from step 4 to determine the size of each sector. You can label each sector with the corresponding category or item.

6. Add visual elements: Enhance the presentation of the circle graph by adding a legend that explains what each sector represents, a title to describe the graph's purpose, and any other relevant information.

By following these steps, you should be able to convert information from a pictograph to a circle graph efficiently.
