How do people modify the environment by interacting with it through urban development and through leisure activites?

    Do they throw trash away? Do they drink the water?
    Do they change the rainfall runoff patterns? Do they remove trees and grass?
    Do their cars emit sulfur and nitrogen oxides (which strangle trees)?
