what is the area of a trapazoid:

1/2*(12+5.4)*6

  • MATH -

    Area of Trapezoid = h*((a+b)/2)
    where a and b are the two parallel sides and h is the perpendicular height.

    If your a and b are 12 and 5.4 and the perpendicular height is 6 then your equation above is correct.
