how do you write 2 3/8 as a percentage/

First convert the number to a decimal number. Remember that percent is expressed in "hundredths". So multiply the decimal number by 100 to get the percent value.
Example:
3 1/16
= 3.0625
= 306.25 percent
= 306.25%
