Can you please tell me the kinetic energy of a house sparrow of mass 28.6 g moving at a speed of
13 m s–1. can your answer be given to an appropriate number of significant figures and include the correct SI units.

28.6 g is M = 0.0286 kg. The formula for KE is (1/2) M V^2. V = 13 m/s
(0.5)(0.0286)(13)^2 = 2.4167 J
That should be rounned to two significant figures (2.4 J), since the speed has only two.
