A bottle of HCL is 14.0M and has a density of 1.08 grams/mL. What is the molality of the HCL?

  • chemistry -

14.0 M means 14.0 mols in 1000 mL of solution. If the solution has a density of 1.08 g/mL, then 1000 g will have a mass of 1080 grams. Then molality = mols/kg solvent. Post your work if you get stuck.
