rational expressions
posted by Mary .
I was asked how rational expressions might be used in my daily life, and I am at a loss.

Do you ever cut a cake into pieces? Are those rational numbers, or not? Do you ever make change? Do you ever measure fractions of cups of things?
Do you ever take a half breath? Geepers, you cant even breathe without math.
Thank you for using the Jiskha Homework Help Forum. First of all, here's a definition of the term "rational expressions."
