Describe how the Triassic period was a transitional time period during the Mesozoic era. Explain why the boundary between the Triassic and Jurassic periods is similar to the boundary between the Permian and Triassic periods.

Late is the Triassic period, the seafloor started to move around, pulling the land with it. This lead to the start of the seperation of Pangea. Also during the Triassic, the first stony corals started to develop, showing advancement in the marine life. The Permian-triassic period is similar to the Triassic-Jurassic because (this was the only thing I could find) is the movement of the seafloor and the evolution of marine and land life.

Damn y'all are mean to Ms.Sue, I mean yeah she gives a link with info on the question instead of a direct answer but seriously XD Anyway thank you HomoNovus :) (and Ms. Sue lol)!!

Hope it helped! HomoNovus to the rescue!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know you go to Connections. It would be nice if someone who did the test gave us answers

6 years later we're still arguing XD. Plus the memes are great nowadays, you should check em out. I remember 2013, the yea when snoop dogg went from snoop dogg to snoop lion and then changed it back to snoop dog. LIKE FOR 2019!!!!

@ms.sue why the useless links? they don't help anybody............u give kids non helpfull information...........

stop telling ms.sue to stop giving links she is trying to help OK and she gave good info and what someone said that the teachers give out the answer out that's not true you have to figured out.

1. The Earth and possibly other planets were not solid because they were still forming. This time period is called the Hadean time period. It is not considered part of Earths geological history because the Earth was not done forming in the Hadean period, so there was no rocks to measure the age of the rock.

2. At the beginning of the paleozoic era there was a big boom in animal life on planet earth, and in the end there was a mass extinction wiping out 90% of major animals. The first period in the Paleozoic era, the Cambrian period, was the time when most major animals appeared on earth. By the next period, the Ordovacian period, organisms could now live on land and now just water. During the Silurian Period, the earth went through a lot of changes, such as glaciers melting. During The Devonian period, The first land living vertabraes, tetrapods, and terrestrial arthropods appeared.
3.Late is the Triassic period, the seafloor started to move around, pulling the land with it. This lead to the start of the seperation of Pangea. Also during the Triassic, the first stony corals started to develop, showing advancement in the marine life. The Permian-triassic period is similar to the Triassic-Jurassic becausethe movement of the seafloor and the evolution of marine and land life.

@HomoNovus did you get this from a website or is this your own wording? like will i get in trouble for plagiarism ?

Ms. Sue is always trying to help us. She tries her best to give us an answer, and it IS OUT JOB to use her information too. Is it so hard to just click on a link and read? Don't expect Ms. Sue to know EVERYTHING, we are just human beings :P

Plus, she is not SUPPOSED to give us a DIRECT answer, us as students need to use our BRAINS in order to retain information, not just idly absorb what other peeps say :P

the link ms sue gave is actually helpful.

both of you are right. mrs. sue could be due to be a little less vague, it is her job to help other search for answers. we all might be here to cheat, but its good that she is helping us and making us do a bit of work

@XXXTENTACION xD I know right? How do people still get mad over one thing for 6 YEARS xD

4. The Cenozoic Era

The Cenozoic Era is the most recent of the three major subdivisions of animal history. The other two are the Mesozoic and Paleozoic Eras. The Cenozoic spans only about 65 million years, from the end of the Cretaceous Period and the extinction of non-avian dinosaurs to the present. The Cenozoic is sometimes called the Age of Mammals, because the largest land animals have been mammals during that time. This is a misnomer for several reasons. First, the history of mammals began long before the Cenozoic began. Second, the diversity of life during the Cenozoic is far wider than mammals. The Cenozoic could have been called the "Age of Flowering Plants" or the "Age of Insects" or the "Age of Teleost Fish" or the "Age of Birds" just as accurately.

The Cenozoic (65.5 million years ago to present) is divided into three periods: the Paleogene (65.5 to 23.03 million years ago), Neogene (23.03 to 2.6 million years ago) and the Quaternary (2.6 million years ago to present). Paleogene and Neogene are relatively new terms that now replace the deprecated term, Tertiary. The Paleogene is subdivided into three epochs: the Paleocene (65.5 to 55.8 million years ago), the Eocene (55.8 to 33.9 million years ago), and the Oligocene (33.9 to 23.03 million years ago). The Neogene is subdivided into two epochs: the Miocene (23.03 to 5.332 million years ago) and Pliocene (5.332 to 2.588 million years ago).*

Take a tour of the world's largest paleo institute, the Paleontological Institute of Russia, which includes many Cenozoic mammals from Russia.

This is what I think don't come at me if I'm wrong...It was a late period and the bottom of the ocean started to move and pulled the land with it. This is what started Pangea and coral started forming which showed growth in marine life. The Permian-Triassic period is similar to the Triassic-Jurassic period because they both experienced major extinction.

omg this is bad-

XD lol. we in 2020 still talking about mrs sue from 2013. XD. but its cool that we all go to the same school... we all stupid as.f. / or don't care enough to try.

thanks

Now, anyway, Thanks for the link Ms Sue, and also thanks for a bit more explanation HomoNovus. I get this question more now ouo

anyway, thanks for the help ms sue!

The seafloor started to move around, pulling the land with it. This led to the start of the separation of Pangaea. Also, during the Triassic, the first stony corals started to develop, showing advancement in the marine life. The Permian-Triassic period is like the Triassic-Jurassic because is the movement of the seafloor and the evolution of marine and land life.

Hope this helps you

you guys understand that ms. sue is being yelled mean things and you dont feel bad? Shes a nice lady not giving you the answers but giving you information to learn not just skip this by like its nothing. #Ms.SueisGreat

Hey Omg you guys have been fight for 6 YEARS wow but I am not say Ms.Sue is bad she is really nice and helpful! BUT GUYS GET A GRIP THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR 6 YEARS!!! I AM PRETTY SURE MS.Sue FORGOT ALL ABOUT!!! jeez.

Mrs. Sue is useful, but I wouldn't appoint her as my campaign manager. VOTE 2020!

What are the people in this site on

whats good

Ms. Sue they are right. Most of the people come on here because they want answers to their tests and quizzes. But guys she is just trying to help and you will get in trouble if you copy and paste that. No matter what if it didn't come from yourself then its plagiarism, So look at the link she gave so that not everyone is copying and pasting that. THEY WILL GET SUSPICOUS.

-.- @wOrKhArDpLaYhArD is right! Listen to her!

Yes im a girl

Describe how the Triassic period was a transitional time period during the Mesozoic

era. Explain why the boundary between the Triassic and Jurassic periods is similar to
the boundary between the Permian and Triassic periods.

yooo its been 9 yrs since this question was posted. i was 4 when they asked this 4 YEARS OLD and we STILL have the same assignment smh. chile

thank you mam this was really helpful i made Shure that i hadn't used your exact words on the thingamabob i forgot what it is called anyway ty verry much!

@Kat101 if it's not coming from you, directly, its plagiarism. Period. The reason Ms. Sue gave you a link is so YOU can FIND THE INFORMATION YOURSELF.

You guys are idiots

Ms. Sue is helping, like how a normal teacher would
Instead of just straight up giving the answers, she is giving a website to help the student by making them learn more
The website gives them the answer like anything else would

yall know that Mrs. sue passed December of 2019 right?

Guys, Stop being so mean to Ms. Sue! She is trying to do what she can to help us to learn ourselves, not just GET the answers, she wants us to learn ourselves. How else are we going to learn anything if we just copy and paste?!?!

- Pinkie from Connexus

If you are a "her" xD

guys, I see both points but think of it this way, how do we learn if we just get told the answer to everything? We have to learn how to find some stuff on our own- and she helped by giving a link that had the useful resources you needed. Even a teacher doesn't give us answers so I would be nice. I get you need the answer fast, but it literally may only take you five minute stop find it in that link. Ms. Sue had to learn this herself- I don't think she had to ask others to give her6 answers so she could get a good grade. This website is asking for HELP not DIRECT ANSWERS.

love your awesome abx

darn auto correct, our* :P

They are not here to help you cheat
