    arctan(1.966/-2.031) = 2.373

    (0.0349+2 i) = 2.000 cis 1.5533
    the product is thus 2.828 cis 2.373

    = .03366 + 1.9649 + .0361 i^2
    = -.00244 + 1.9649

    = 1.9649( cossØ + i sinØ)
    where tan Ø = 1.9649/-.00244
    Ø = appr 90.07° or 1.572 radians
