two buildings in the same city ←
two tall buildings in different cities
two stars very far away from each other
two stars very close to each other

5. A maglev train uses powerful magnets to lift the train above the tracks as it moves forward. Such as a design reduces which of the following forces?
rolling friction
gravity
air resistance ←
fluid friction

6. Which of the following examples does not demonstrate a change in velocity?
An elevator slows down in order to stop at the top floor ←
A cruise ship travels west at a constant speed
A soccer ball is passed across the field or ←
A train remains at a constant speed as it moves around the bend

7. Which of the following does not need to be measured in order to describe motion?
size of an object
distance the object traveled
velocity of the object ←

Thanks so much!

If anybody is still looking for the answers to this quiz, I got a 100 with these answers:

1. False
2. C
3. D
4. B
5. D
6. A
7. B
8. A
On number 9, give an example in change of velocity. The change of velocity is known as acceleration, and it is the rate at which velocity changes. The change can be speed, direction, or both. So if you were driving at 50 mph and sped up to 55, you would be accelerating 5 miles per hour. Get it?

If you go to Connexus for the writeing question that Anon answered change stuff around and use different words because now they are finding out if your cheating and I got caught once and I got in trouble so switch words around and use different words, so you don't get caught I'm helping you out

I'm sorry about her, she can be a silly old cow sometimes. But don't cheat in science or math. You CAN cheat in Language arts and social studies, but for some reason this dam site has no social studies pages.

9: in system international (SI) or metric units motion involves the unit meters and seconds. The consistency of the units makes it easier for someone from a different country to understand even if they do not speak the same language

the 2021 answers :)

Anon is 100% correct

THANK YOU SO MUCH ANON

You guys are so kewl. Y'all are my fam, fam

1. Nope. If the net forces are zero, it means that the object is at an equilibrium state (may be static of dynamic), and thus implies the forces cancel or balance each other out.

2. It's actually air resistance. I suggest you read about Aristotle's and Galileo's experiment about the topic (gravity).

3. Ain't sure with this one. ^^;

4. Recall that gravitational force can be measure using the formula:
F = G*m1*m2 / r^2
where m1 and m2 are the masses of the objects, and r is the distance between them.
Thus, F is largest when the objects are very massive, and they are close with each other. And therefore, it's "two stars very close to each other".

5. I think it's the rolling friction, because there would be less contact between the tracks and the wheels of the train.

6. It's "a cruise ship travels west at a constant speed". Note in order to have a constant velocity, you must have both magnitude and direction as constant.

7. It's the size of the object. Note that distance, velocity and acceleration are the essential concepts of kinematics.

Hope this helps~ :3

Anon is 100% right!

I got 100% but I only used this site for clarification Haha

Odd man I am gonna be a pro golfer so I search up answers to help LEARN and you call this dude odd what you talkin bout this kid is .... what are you.think about that

Um. you should stop saying "I think" because your not sure and what if "Elena" doesn't get the grade on her science quiz that she wants.

hi i am mr beast but evil go watch dream video to know some back story

Trump forever

Anon got 6 wrong, its supposed to be A. Rolling Friction

So, the essay response from Anon is for an old essay question that we had changed over a year ago. We actively search for these answers online and issue HCVs to students who use them. We also have the curriculum changed in response to what you post. If you use this answer, it tells me that you didn't even bother to READ the new question and you are just copying non-sense. You are playing Russian Roulette with your grade if you copy from the internet. Do you want to guess whether or not your teachers have found the answers posted and had the questions changed? Ask some of my students who got 0 points on assignments last year how much fun it is to have your grade plummet overnight.

OR, don't use this site to cheat on your quizzes and tests, because yes we know about it. If you can find the answers, we can find the answers.
