Will someone send me the ti 83 steps for: determine the graph of the equation: 9x^2+25y^2+z^2=225
if one is available.

  1. The equation is that of an ellipsoid. Dividing the equation by 225 yields:

    9/225x^2+25/225y^2+1/225Z^2=1 or

    (1/5)^2x^2+(1/3)^2y^2+(1/15)^2z^2=1

    5 and 3 are the equatorial radii, along the x and y axes, and 15 is the polar radius, along the z axis.
