What are examples of an environment changed by humans?

A: Examples of an environment changed by humans include the construction of polders and canals.

My textbook doesn't state any of these examples.

we love you miss sue. Rest in piece.

Trust me. I'm a geography teacher and you should recognize many different ways that people have changed their environments. If your teacher only wants you to copy information from your textbook, o.k. But I want to make sure that you understand other examples also.

I do. However, I am uncertain of which examples from my textbook are accurate.

As far as I can see, your textbook is accurate. But it often is not complete.

If I were to type an answer consisting of the examples provided in my textbook, would you evaluate it?

Sure.

Alternative answers:

1) A: Examples of an environment changed by humans include the construction of polders, canals, deforestation, and acid rain.

2). A: The Dutch and the Venetians altered lands to fit their needs by constructing polders and canals.

Right.

Which of one of my answers is correct?

Both are correct.

I could give you several dozen more examples of how humans have changed their environment.

That's one example.

If you step outside your front door, you'll probably see these examples of how humans changed the environment in your area. You see HOUSES, paved STREETS, LAWNS, and nonnative PLANTS. Go a few blocks and you'll probably see large BUILDINGS and huge paved PARKING LOTS. Travel a little further and you'll see crops such as ORCHARDS and GRAPES. Continue on, and you'll find STADIUMS, multi-lane HIGHWAYS, RAILROAD TRACKS, BRIDGES spanning large bodies of water, and SKYSCRAPERS. Do you also see telephone, cell and utility POLES?

All of those things in caps are examples of ways humans have changed their environment.
