How do you graph the equation y=kx?

1. Since the equation is for a line, you really only need two points. If you plug x=0 into the equation, the value of y is also zero. This gives you the first point (0,0). For x=1, y=k, so the second point is (0,k). The graph of the equation is a line passing through these two points.
