  1. 4 feet is 4 feet *12 in/ft = 48 in
    then add 9 inches to get 57 inches

    8 yards * 3 feet/yard = 24 feet
    add 1 ft to get 25 feet
    then multiply 25 ft by 12 in/ft to get 300 in

    Now you should be able to do the last one.
