Tbh, I dont know what '6th Grade' is. Im in year 7. I dont know if they are the same but yeah. Anyway for ratio and proportion we do questions like this:
1 cubic metre of garden soil weighs 1200kg.
10% of the soil is water.
The rest is compost, manure and stone.
The weights of these ingredients are in the ratio 4 : 2 : 3.
Work out the amount of compost, manure and stone required for 1 cubic metre of soil.
A gardener has a 15 cubic metre piece of land to fill and has 5 tonnes of stone, does he have enough?
I know how to work it out but all im gonna say is good luck :)
