Plz help me to solve this question

The distance between two stations A & B is 230km.Two motorcyclistr start simultaneously from A&B in opposite directions and the distance between them after 3hours becomes 20km.if the speed of one motorcyclist is 10km,hr less than that of the other,find the speed of the two motorcyclists.

let x be the rate(speed)

TABLE:
R * T = D
M1 x 3 = 3x
M2 x+10 3 = 3(x+10)

solution:
3x+3(x+10)=210 (210, bcoz 230-20 or
distance after 3hrs)
3x+3x+30=210
6x=180
x=30kph

Thank you..

but what is the speed of other cyclist

To solve this question, we can use the formula:

Distance = Speed x Time

Let's assume the speed of one motorcyclist is 'x' km/hr. According to the given information, the speed of the other motorcyclist is 10 km/hr less than 'x', which means the speed of the other motorcyclist is '(x - 10)' km/hr.

Now, let's calculate the distances covered by both motorcyclists after 3 hours:

Distance covered by the motorcyclist with speed 'x' in 3 hours = Speed x Time
= x km/hr * 3 hr
= 3x km

Distance covered by the motorcyclist with speed '(x - 10)' in 3 hours = Speed x Time
= (x - 10) km/hr * 3 hr
= 3(x - 10) km

According to the question, the distance between them after 3 hours is 20 km. So, we can write the equation:

3x + 3(x - 10) = 20

Simplify the equation:

3x + 3x - 30 = 20
6x - 30 = 20
6x = 20 + 30
6x = 50
x = 50/6
x ≈ 8.33

Therefore, the speed of one motorcyclist is approximately 8.33 km/hr, and the speed of the other motorcyclist is (8.33 - 10) km/hr, which is approximately -1.67 km/hr. However, a negative speed is not possible in this context, so we need to re-evaluate the problem since the given information might be incorrect or incomplete.
