Eliza and Jamie are making cupcakes for a bake sale at school. Eliza need 2one third c of flour for her recipe and Jamie needs 1three fourths c for her recipe. They have 4 c of flour. Do they have enough flour for both recipes? Explain.

I have never seen 100 likes so may I get that?

Thx!!!!

This is what I did. . .

2 1/3 x 4/4= 2 4/12
1 3/4 x 3/3= 1 9/12
2 4/12 + 1 9/12= 3 13/12= 4 1/12
Answer: No, they need 1/12 of a cup more flour.

Yes they will have enough they need 7/12 and they have 4 cups so they will have alot all you need to do is add 2 1/3 and 1 3/4 to get 7/12 I hope this helps

A guy named Naruto Uzumaki gave this to me on this app, so if it is wrong it is not on me :)
