Help!!! If a den has 0.5 by 0.6 dimentions , what will be the dimensions after the house is built; 1/2 in = 10 ft

Can any one help me figure this out???? Thanks!!

What unit of measure is used?

I don't understand 0.5 by 0.6.

I figured it out but the one I don't understand is to find the dimensions on a house after its built if it is 18 feet by 16 feet and they are giving me the same info 1/2 in = 10 feet?? What formula do I use?

Find each quotient

18.9÷30

To find the dimensions of the den after the house is built, we need to convert the given dimensions from inches to feet and then double them since the dimensions will be doubled when the house is built.

Given:
Length of the den = 0.5 inches
Width of the den = 0.6 inches

First, let's convert inches to feet. We know that 1 foot is equal to 12 inches, so 1 inch is equal to 1/12 foot. Therefore, we can calculate the dimensions of the den in feet by dividing the given dimensions in inches by 12:

Length of the den in feet = 0.5 inches / 12 = 0.0417 feet (rounded to 4 decimal places)
Width of the den in feet = 0.6 inches / 12 = 0.05 feet

Next, we need to double the dimensions since the house will be twice the size of the den:

Length of the house = 2 * Length of the den = 2 * 0.0417 feet = 0.0833 feet (rounded to 4 decimal places)
Width of the house = 2 * Width of the den = 2 * 0.05 feet = 0.1 feet

Therefore, the dimensions of the house after it is built will be approximately 0.0833 feet by 0.1 feet.
