A bag contains 10 white golf balls and 6 striped golf balls. A golfer wants to add 112 golf balls to the bag. He wants the ratio of white to striped golf balls to remain the same. How many of each should he add?

I don't trust you

Let w = white balls. Cross multiply and solve for w.

10/16 = w/112

16w = 1120

w = 70

Let s = striped

112 - 70 = s

? = s

ivebeen checking my answers and the "helping you" si 60% wrong and 40% right

42 golf balls he should add right

hold up where are you getting 1120 my calculations say that should be 1200 not 1120

then why does it say 16 instead of 6?^^^

Just saying don't trust him because everyone has some different question on the test

They change the questions so you can cheat only use the answers if the person puts the answer along w/ the letter so you can be sure its for the right question

17: cross multiply
10/16 = w/112
16w = 1120
W=70
Striped golf balls = s
112-70= 42
18.
V (12,4)
W (-4,8)
X (-6,-4)
Y (6,-10)
19. They are not similar because none of the coordinates would divide or multiply to get the larger number. Example: take 2.4ft and multiply 3 you will get 7.2. Again, take 2.4ft and multiply 4 and you will get 9.4
20. Yes, they are equivalent. 4 x 21= 84
6 x 14= 84
