Because of the recession, schools don't have enough money to educate everyone to the best of their abilities. As a result, our drop out rate is high and our test scores are much lower than those in many other countries.
People who want more gun control cite the huge numbers of injuries and deaths because of guns in the U.S. Those who oppose gun control believe that everyone has the right to own as many guns as s/he wants.
