    a = x(√(1-x^2) + √(4-x^2))

    da/dx =
    [√(1-x^2) + √(4-x^2)][√(1-x^2)√(4-x^2)-x^2]
    ----------------------------------
    √(1-x^2)√(4-x^2

    da/dx = 0 when x = 2/√5
