1a. A block slides horizontally across a ice(assume no friction). Describe the path of the block after it receives a push perpendicular to its original velocity.

1b. Describe the path of the block if a wind provides a constant force perpendicular to its original velocity.

The constant force provides the uniform acceleration. Since this acceleration is normal to the velocity, it is centripetal acceleration. The block will move along the curvilinear trajectory (circle).
