    x^2 + 3x = 2

    x^2 + 3x + 9/4 = 2 + 9/4
    (x+3/2)^2 = 17/4
    x+3/2 = √17 /2
    x = (-3 ± √17)/2

    7) π r^2 = 25
    r^2 = 25/π
    r = 5/√π
