  2. The radius is Half of the Diameter. So you would do 8/2 = 4

    In other words, it takes 2 radii to make one diameter.

    You are given the diameter to be 8 inches.

    We have:

    8 inches = 2r

    We divide both sides of the equation by 2 to find r.

    8 inches/2 = r

    Then, radius is 4 inches.
