    (1 - cos^2 Ø) / cos^2 Ø

    (the way you typed it, you would get 1-1 = 0 )


    (1 - cos^2 Ø) / cos^2 Ø
    = sin^2 Ø/cos^2 Ø
    = tan^2 Ø
