Among the 2 supplementary angles the measure of the largeer angle is 36 more than measure of the smaller one.Find their measures.

  1. Since they are supplementary,
    A + B = 180
    and you also know that
    A - B = 36
    where A is the "measure of" the larger of the two angles.
    By adding the two equations, you find that
    2A = 216
    A = 108
    B = 72
