FIND A PERIMETER OF A TRIANGLE WHERE ONE SIDE IS 2 INCHES, ONE SIDE IS 6 INCHES, ANOTHER SIDE IS 10 INCHES???

  4. Unfortunately the triangle does not exist.

    Any properly formed triangle has to have any two of its sides greater than or equal to the third.
    In this example, the sides 2 and 6 will never meet to form a triangle, since the base is 10 inches.

    Mathematically, this can be expressed as:
    a+b>c
    b+c>a
    c+a>b
    All three conditions must be satisfied for the triangle to "exist".
