I wonder if there is a point where emphasizing the language skills on to a young child may actually have a negative impact on their socialization?

  1. Wouldn't that depend upon which language skills were being emphasized?

  2. The language skills I am referring to are, the learning-theory approach, nativst approach and the interactionist approach are the language skills being emphasized.

  4. It would depend on how the language skills were emphasized. Is punishment involved? Modeling?

    I also agree with Ms.Sue. Writing, reading or oral skills?
