Sunset rents an SUV at $21.95 plus $0.23 per mile. Sunrise rents the same vehicle for $24.95 plus $0.19 per mile. For what mileage is the cost the same?

This means that one cost equals the other. Let X stand for the number of miles. Thus the basic cost plus the mileage costs for one plan equal the basic cost plus the mileage costs for the other.

This should lead you to the solution. I hope it helps. Thanks for asking.
