will someone please help me with the question i posted earlier ? :(

1. log2=log(x+5)-1

log 2 - log (x+5) = -1

log (2/(x+5)) = -1

10^log (2/(x+5)) = 10^-1 = 0.1

so
2/(x+5) = 0.1
2 = .1 x + .5
1.5 = .1 x
x = 15
