Do you write a rites of passages, the same way you would write a research paper? Do you know where I can find a sample paper?

Can you please explain to me what a Rite of Passage Paper is?
Write a 1,400- to 1,750-word paper in which you create two modern rite of passages, one for an adolescent girl and one for an adolescent boy, that address the social demands facing adolescents today.

I am just confused on where to begin, mainly because I am not sure what a Rite of Passages paper consisit of.

A rite of passage includes those events that signal a more mature status. Included are:
confirmation/bar mitzvah, bat mitzvah
driver's license
permission to date
middle school/high school graduation
first job

Choose two of those and explain why they fulfill social demands on adolescents."

You'll need to write:

1. Introduction
. . . A. Attention grabber
. . . B. Brief explanation of rites of passage
. . . C. Thesis Statement

2. Body

2. Body

. . . Include the two rites of passage and how they fulfill social needs

3. Conclusion

Yes, you can approach writing a rites of passage document in a similar manner as writing a research paper, depending on the specific requirements and guidelines provided. While there may be some variations in the structure and content between the two types of writing, the research paper methodology and style can be applied to a rites of passage document to ensure a well-organized and coherent piece of work.

To find a sample paper specific to rites of passage, you can explore various sources:

1. Online databases: Academic databases such as JSTOR, EBSCOhost, or ProQuest contain a wide range of scholarly articles and research papers. Use keyword combinations like "rites of passage" or "rites of passage research paper" to search for relevant examples.

2. University or college websites: Many educational institutions have online libraries or research repositories where students or faculty members upload their research papers. Check the website of universities known for anthropology, sociology, or cultural studies programs, as these fields often discuss rites of passage.

3. Online academic communities: Websites like Academia.edu or ResearchGate host a vast collection of research papers, including those related to rites of passage. You may need to create an account to access some papers, but there are usually free options available.

4. Libraries: Local or university libraries may have physical copies of research papers or books on rites of passage. You can search their catalogs or ask a librarian for assistance.

When studying a sample paper, pay attention to its structure, argumentation, use of citations and references, as well as writing style. However, remember that you should never copy or plagiarize any part of a sample paper. Instead, use it as a guidance tool to understand the appropriate format and approach for writing your own rites of passage document.
