i got the answer to be 8.48 M... the percent mass is irrelevant information, right? i figured out the answer just by the given density alone.

  1. Knowing the density alone cannot tell you the molarity of the solution unless you have a lookup table of density vs. molarity, based upon previous measurements.

    The % by mass of NaI is not irrelevant.
