I am doing a powerpoint presentation about neurons. I need to include pictures of the nervous system, the central nervous system, neurons, and various things related to the subject. I am having trouble finding these pictures because many of them have very small font so they are unreadable. Can someone halp? Thank you.

Have you checked Google Images?

Hi Ms.Sue- I went to ask and checked those images. The problem is I am trying to include a diagram of the nervous system and the central nervous system and no matter how much I resize the picture it is still unreadable because the font is just too small. The assignment is that we have to make a lesson plan to teach sixth grade level students about neurons. I was starting with the nervous system. Any suggestions? Your help is appreciated!

I Googled neurons kids and found this site that may help you.

You may also check your library for suitable images.

Have you thought of scanning images from your textbook?

I hope this helps a little more. Thanks for asking.

Of course, I can help you find high-quality, readable pictures for your PowerPoint presentation about neurons. Here's how you can find suitable images:

1. Start by using specific keywords related to your topic. For example, search for terms like "neurons," "nervous system," "central nervous system," or any specific aspect you want to include in your presentation.

2. Utilize search engines like Google or Bing and go to the 'Images' section to conduct your search.

3. To find images with larger font or clearer details, you can use various search tools provided by the search engines. For example, in Google Images, you can click on "Tools" below the search bar, then select "Size" and pick larger image sizes from the options. This can help ensure the images you find have a higher resolution and are more readable.

4. Additionally, within the search tools, you can adjust the "Type" to include diagrams, illustrations, or infographics. These types of images usually have clearer and more distinct visual elements.

5. Consider searching for images on specialized platforms such as medical or scientific stock photo websites, where you may find professionally designed graphics with better readability.

6. As an alternative, you can also try searching for images in scholarly databases or academic platforms. These sources often provide detailed images from scientific studies, journals, or textbooks.

Remember, when using images in a presentation, it's good practice to include proper attributions to the original source of the image, ensuring compliance with copyright laws and acknowledging the work of others.

By following these steps, you should be able to find high-quality images about neurons and related topics that are readable and suitable for your PowerPoint presentation.
