I really need help i am so stuck i can not figure this out we are trying to find the slopes here is an example of what i am doing

i get everything all theway till a certain point

example: (-4,9);2x=5y+6

the answer is 2/5x+53/5 but i don't know how they came up with 53 that is where I am getting stuckwhat are they doing to come up with that

To find the slope, you need to rearrange the equation into slope-intercept form, which is in the form of y = mx + b, where m is the slope.

Let's start with the equation you provided: 2x = 5y + 6.

1. First, move the 5y term to the left side to isolate it: 5y = 2x - 6.

2. Next, divide both sides of the equation by 5 to isolate y: y = (2/5)x - 6/5.

Now that the equation is in slope-intercept form, you can see that the slope (m) is (2/5).

However, you mentioned that the answer is 2/5x + 53/5. It seems there might be a mistake because the slope should not be changing into 53/5. Double-check the equation and calculations to ensure accuracy.

If you provide more specific examples or equations, I can guide you through the process step-by-step.
