  1. metaphor- the tree is taller than my father

    personificatin- the desk's legs were tired from standing

    and i don't know what is a trochee sorry

  4. The definition of each literary term should help as well:

    metaphor = an implied comparison is made between two unlike things that actually have something in common
    Example: Love is a rose.

    personification = an inanimate object or abstraction is given human qualities or abilities
    Example: The wind stood up and whistled

    trochee = a metrical foot consisting, in Greek and Latin verse, of one long syllable followed by one short one, or, as in English verse, of one accented syllable followed by one unaccented one (Ex.: “Pétĕr, | Pétĕr, | púmpkĭn | éatĕr”)
